This intimate wedding, styled by Agape Gold Events, features some of the most gorgeous details I have ever photographed. One of my goals for 2021 is to challenge myself creatively. To see things differently and capture moments that I don’t orchestrate, but rather let my COUPLES’ moments happen the way they are meant to happen, and turn them into art. And that’s what I focused on doing for this styled wedding at the Darling Hotel!

To start off the shoot, I used the pearl-accented bridal veil to add to all of my detail shots. Not that these really needed any help - I mean look at that bridal crown and the jaw-dropping, uniquely designed stationery!

*My top tip for styling details: use what you already have! This may seem obvious, but it’s easy just to photograph the stationery/invites/rings and call it good. Instead of stopping there, look around and see what other details you could include. For this shoot, this bridal cape made for a really pretty detail backdrop.*

Our couple was absolutely stunning and were the perfect models to photograph. They were full of smiles but could also bring the moody fire when they wanted to. They rocked their outfits and made the streets of Visalia look dangggg good.

We explored the streets in the sun, found a super cool staircase, made use of the aesthetic hotel front, and hung out by the hotel pool. Plus, Agape Gold Events created the coolest pink backdrop!

This was a real fun day with so many talented people - I’m just sorry to all of those people that drove by us and honked thinking it was a real wedding ;)
