Romantic Studio Nashville Elopement | Jenna & Sam

In the summer of 2019, I attended Passion Workshop in Nashville, TN (see another fun gallery from the workshop here!). We got the opportunity to photograph one of the sweetest couples I've ever met, Jenna & Sam, in the Wilburn Street Studio in Nashville.

Jenna & Sam were the perfect models for us. They're absolute angels of humans and were down to do anything we wanted them to, even though they didn't even need any help in front of the camera.

The Details & Styling

Jenna wore a stunning gown from White Meadow Bridal, an Australian bridal designer who actually shipped the gown to Nashville specifically for this shoot! It's by FAR one of my favorite & most unique dresses I've ever photographed. The gown is decorated with stars, crescent moons, and little specks of glitter. It's actually a two-piece, too, with a strapless scoop top and thin sleeves, and a skirt with a suuuper flowy train.

Sam wore a super stylish dark gray suit from Billy Reid that paired perfectly with Jenna's red hair & bright white gown. And can we talk about how gorgeous her hair color looks with the light pink & beige color palette that Thistle & Lace put together for the floral pieces?!

And I'm absolutely obsessed with every styling aspect of this shoot. The gorgeous tablescape with light pink, orange, and cream florals, candles, & table settings. The green & beige stationery. The cream-colored cake with blue and yellow accents. This elopement goes to show how much your color palette can impact the mood of your big day!

Doing a styled photoshoot with a large group of photographers can be hard, but I always challenge myself to stay creative and create unique shots! And I love love the gallery I got out of this shoot. It'll forever be one of my favorites because of all the wonderful memories that came with that trip, like having an editing party with 14 other photographers while drinking wine & making new friends! Can't believe that this is my life sometimes.
