Boho Bridal Yosemite Elopement Inspiration

This dreamy, boho bridal session will give you all the inspiration you need when planning your own Yosemite elopement.

A couple years back, I put on this styled elopement photoshoot to capture my dream elopement photos at Yosemite National Park. And wow did that dream come to life.

The Boho Bridal Look

For this styled bridal shoot, I worked with a few amazing California wedding vendors who made my vision come to life. My amazing model, Chenoa, brought all the fire and boho beauty that I was picturing - she made this all happen for us!

She wore a simple, beautiful strapless dress from What’s Up Europe, a Visalia bridal shop, designed by Lillian West, a boho wedding dress company. The gown features all kinds of lace patterns across it, but the shape of the strapless cut and the short veil keeps the look simple + charming.

I’m always a big fan of accessories, so I had Chenoa wear a gorgeous boho hat from my favorite hat company, Nicholson Hat Co! The hat designer, Keryn, creates the most beautiful custom hats for her clients. So if you’re looking for a hat to wear to your elopement, Keryn is the person to go to!

Ashley Beckenhauer of Bridal Buns did super simple but classy curls on Chenoa, which went perfectly with the boho hat she wore. Simple hairstyles are always the way to go if you’re wearing lots of accessories or a hat!

And finally, to tie the look together, Among the Lilies put together the most stunning boho bouquet for Chenoa to hold. She created a super warm look with a combination of orange, yellow, pink, and purple flowers, accenting it with pampas grass. It perfectly matched the feathers on the hat to tie together all of the accessories!

The Adventure

Fun fact: we actually found the Free People patterned denim jacket featured in these photos on the way to the shoot, at Nordstrom. So I bought the jacket as an impulse purchase, and now I can justify it and keep it forever. I just might not be able to pull it off quite like Chenoa :)
